In OnlyX, click Inbox. Then click the fan’s row.The conversation first loads up to 50 of its newest messages.

Scroll up in the messages
Scroll up inside the column of messages, with the mouse wheel or the trackpad. On a phone, drag the messages down. The list of conversations and the fan panel scroll on their own. They do not load older messages.If older messages are ready to load, the hint “Scroll up for earlier messages” shows at the top of the column.
The ringed hint at the top of the message column means OnlyX holds older messages that are not loaded yet.

Wait for the next page
When you get near the top, the column shows “Loading earlier messages…”. Then up to 50 older messages appear. Your view stays on the message you were reading.If the first messages do not fill the column, OnlyX loads more pages by itself.

Keep scrolling for older pages
Keep scrolling up while the hint is there. A missing hint does not prove that you have the full chat history.If a banner is there, OnlyFans has older messages that OnlyX has not copied. See Read the history banner.

Go back to the newest message
Click the round arrow button at the bottom of the message column. Its tooltip reads “Jump to the newest”.While you read old messages, new messages do not move your view. The button then shows how many arrived.
The banner sits above the oldest message in the column. It shows when OnlyFans has older messages in the conversation that OnlyX has not copied.For example, it can say “Showing the most recent 5 messages — older history exists on OnlyFans and hasn’t been synced.” The number is how many messages OnlyX has copied for this fan.
The ringed banner means older messages are still on OnlyFans. OnlyX has not copied them yet.
Some banners have no number. Then they read “Older messages exist on OnlyFans that haven’t been synced yet — this thread reads emptier than it is.”What to know about the banner:
Scrolling up cannot load these messages.
There is no button that copies the rest of the history, and OnlyX gives no time for when it will.
The banner sits above the messages. If older pages are still loading, it moves above those too.
To read the older part now, open the chat on the platform itself.
A conversation with no banner may still have older messages on the platform. OnlyX shows the banner only when it knows that older history exists. For a conversation that OnlyX has not checked yet, it shows nothing.
OnlyX may have copied the whole conversation, or it may not know how much history exists. The screen does not tell you which. If an old fan has only a few messages here, check the chat on the platform.
Hidden messages come from your settings and your team, not from the platform.
Messages the fan never got: OnlyX hides them by default. These are replies that were stopped before they went out, and sends that OnlyFans refused. To read them, go to Settings > Appearance and turn on Show messages the fan never got in Inbox display. It changes only your own view. See Message delivery states: did the fan get it?.
Messages your team hid: Hide for us dims a message and labels it “hidden for us”. The message stays in the conversation, and the fan still sees it. See Copy, quote, hide, tag or unsend a message.
Messages the fan never got still count in each page of 50. A page can therefore show fewer messages. If all loaded messages are of this kind, the column says “Nothing here he could see.”The Activity tab of the fan panel has its own limit. It can say “Showing the most recent activity — older events are not loaded.” That is about events such as purchases, not messages. See Read a fan’s activity timeline.
Scroll inside the messages, not on the list of conversations. OnlyX loads older messages only when you scroll up yourself, close to the top of the column. Wait until “Loading earlier messages…” is gone. If you see “Nothing here he could see.”, turn on Show messages the fan never got in Settings > Appearance.
A message says "Could not load earlier messages"
The page did not load, and the hint stays. Wait a few seconds, then scroll up again. If it keeps failing, check your internet connection and reload the page.
The conversation stops and there is no banner
Older messages can still be on the platform even when OnlyX shows no banner. Open the chat there to read them.
The banner is still there after a long time
OnlyX gives no time for when it copies older history, and you cannot start it yourself. Reload the page to see the latest state. If the conversation matters now, read the older part on the platform.
A message I read earlier is not there
It may be a message that the fan never got. Turn on Show messages the fan never got in Settings > Appearance. A message that your team hid stays in the conversation, dimmed.
