Owners and admins choose a role when they invite someone. They can change it later in Settings > Members. The Role menu offers Admin, Chatter and Content VA. Under the menu, OnlyX shows what the chosen role can see and do.

Some controls show even to roles that cannot use them:
the Hugo switch on the Creators page;
Disconnect in a creator’s Danger zone;
for chatters, the editing controls on AI Persona and AI Content.
If your role does not allow the change, OnlyX does not save it. You may see an error such as “Could not save the persona” or “Your role does not allow this.”
An owner or admin assigns creators to each chatter and content VA. That person sees only those creators on the Creators page. In the Inbox, a chatter sees only the conversations of those creators. With no creators assigned, both lists are empty.
A chatter sees the inbox of their assigned creators only. Owners and admins can change a chatter’s creators in Settings > Members.
The sidebar shows only the pages your role can open. In Settings, the tabs your role cannot use are hidden too. On a phone, the same pages are in the bar at the bottom of the screen and under More.

If you open a link to a page your role cannot use, OnlyX takes you to your start page. It does not show an error.
You have a role in each workspace you belong to. If you work for two agencies, you can be an admin in one and a chatter in the other. When you switch workspace, OnlyX uses your role in that workspace. See Work in several workspaces.To check your role, click Settings. Then click My Workspace. The Your role line shows your role in this workspace.
An owner or admin can change your role at any time. The change takes effect at once.Your own menus change the next time you open or reload OnlyX after your session renews. Your session renews within 15 minutes. To see the new menus now, log out and sign in again.
Nobody has assigned creators to them yet. An owner or admin opens Settings > Members and clicks the creators button on that person’s row. It shows 0 creators. See Manage members, assignments and invites.
"Your role does not allow this."
Your role cannot make this change. Ask an owner or admin to make it, or to change your role.
I don't see Members in Settings
Only owners and admins have the Members tab. Ask one of them to invite people or to change roles.
My menus still show my old role
The change is already live. Your menus update the next time you reload OnlyX after your session renews, within 15 minutes. To update them now, log out and sign in again.
The owner wants to hand the workspace to someone else
The owner role stays with the person who created the workspace. You cannot give it away in OnlyX. If the workspace needs a new owner, email OnlyX support at support@onlyx.ai. For daily work, you can make that person an admin instead.
