# AI Persona: set how she writes

> Choose the creator's archetype and writing style in the Voice section of AI Persona, and paste her own words so Hugo sounds like her.

<Badge color="purple">Owners, admins and content VAs</Badge>

The **Voice** section of **AI Persona** sets how the creator sounds when Hugo writes as her. It holds her character, how she types and real examples of her messages.

## Before you start

* You need an owner, admin or content VA account. Chatters can open **AI Persona**, but they cannot save it.
* Ask the creator for a handful of real messages she sent to fans. The app recommends them over any description of her style.

## Set her voice

    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. Then click the creator, click **AI Persona** and click **Voice**.

    The **Voice** section opens with four parts: **How she comes across**, **How she writes**, **What a fan sees** and **Her own words**.

    Under **How she comes across**, click the card that is closest to the creator.

    The card you pick is highlighted. Each card shows a short description and the first line she would send to a fan. A new persona starts as **Girl next door**.

  <Step title="Choose how she writes">
    Under **How she writes**, click one card in each row: **Capitalisation**, **Punctuation**, **Message splitting**, **Reply speed** and **Emoji**.

    Each card shows an example, so pick the one that looks like her messages.

  <Step title="Optional: Leave Occasional typos as it is">
    Under the rows, **Occasional typos** starts off. The app says: "Imperfect typing reads as human". The newest Hugo does not make typos on purpose, even when it is on.

  <Step title="Check the preview">
    Under **What a fan sees**, read the sample chat. It changes each time you click a card.

  <Step title="Paste her own words">
    In **Her own words**, paste real messages the creator sent to fans. Put each message on its own line.

  <Step title="Save the persona">
    At the top of the tab, click **Save**.

    The message "AI Persona saved" appears. Hugo reads the saved persona before each reply.

  Paste a handful of her real messages into **Her own words**. In the app's words: "Real messages beat any description of tone."

<Note>
  The sample chat in **What a fan sees** is an example built from fixed lines, not a message Hugo wrote. Nothing changes for fans until you click **Save**.

## The choices

**How she comes across** has eight cards:

| **Dominant** | "Takes charge and sets the terms" |
| **Sweet & shy** | "Soft, bashful, easily flustered" |
| **Party girl** | "Loud, spontaneous, always out" |
| **Girlfriend** | "Devoted, checks in, remembers everything" |
| **Bratty** | "Cheeky, argues back, fishes for attention" |
| **Filthy** | "Blunt and graphic from the first line" |

**How she writes** has one row for each part of her style:

**Occasional typos** starts off.

## If something goes wrong

    The preview always uses the same sample lines for each card, so it shows her style, not her words. To make Hugo sound like her, paste her real messages into **Her own words**.

    Try again. If it fails again, check your role: chatters cannot save the persona. Ask an owner, admin or content VA.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="&#x22;This page is out of date — reload and save again&#x22;">
    OnlyX changed since you opened the page. Reload the page, choose your cards again, and click **Save**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My changes are gone">
    Changes are kept only until you leave the tab. Moving between **Identity**, **Voice** and **Limits** keeps them. Opening another tab or another creator before you click **Save** loses them.
