# Quick start: from sign-up to Hugo answering

> The shortest path from a new workspace to Hugo answering your first creator's fans and selling her content.

Follow these steps, one after the other, to get Hugo answering and selling for your first creator. Most steps link to a full guide.

## Before you start

* You need an owner or admin account in OnlyX. To create one, see [Create your agency account](/getting-started/create-your-account).
* You need access to your creator's OnlyFans account. You sign in to it, or she signs in herself with the OnlyX Login app.
* Your creator needs content in her OnlyFans vault that Hugo may sell.

## Sign up and add your creator

  <Step title="Confirm your email">
    In the welcome email, click **Confirm email and add your creator**. On the page that opens, click **Add your creator**.

    The **Creators** page opens. See [Confirm your email](/getting-started/confirm-your-email).

  <Step title="Add the creator">
    Click **Add creator**. In the **Add creator account** window, enter her **Display name**. Then click **Connect**.

    A window opens where you sign in to her OnlyFans account. See [Add your first creator](/getting-started/add-your-first-creator).

    In that window, choose **Connect here**, **Connect with App** or **Connect with proxy**, and sign in. See [Choose how to connect an OnlyFans account](/connecting/ways-to-connect).

    When the sign-in works, OnlyX opens her page on the **Overview** tab.

## Finish her setup

On her **Overview** tab, under her profile card, is the Hugo card with a checklist of steps. A new creator's Hugo switch is already on. But the heading reads "Hugo is on, and held back" until every step is done. The meter shows how many steps are ready, for example "2 of 5 ready".

  <Step title="Write the persona">
    On the **Write the persona** step, click **Open AI Persona**. Enter her **Age** and her **Backstory**, and any other details you know. Then click **Save**.

    This **Save** saves the whole persona, including the recommended hard limits that are ticked. So check the **Limits** section before you save for the first time.

  <Step title="Save her hard limits">
    On the **Set the hard limits** step, click **Open Limits**. If you already saved the persona, the ticked limits were saved with it. The step then shows how many are set, and its button reads **Review**.

    The recommended limits are already ticked. Untick any that do not apply, and add her own. Then click **Save**.

    Until you save, the page shows "Limits not saved", and the limits do not count. See [Set hard limits and soft boundaries](/hugo/hard-limits-and-soft-boundaries).

  <Step title="Let her fans sync">
    There is nothing to click. Her fans arrive with the first sync of her account. The **Let the fans sync** step is done when the first fan arrives.

  <Step title="Map the content">
    On the **Map the content** step, click **Open AI Content**. Build at least one collection with a level that is active, has a price above \$0, and holds media.

  <Step title="Check the heading">
    Go back to her **Overview** tab. When every step is done, the heading reads "Hugo is answering".

    If it reads "Hugo is off", turn on the switch in the Hugo card. See [Turn Hugo on for a creator](/getting-started/turn-hugo-on).

Hugo starts answering fans as soon as the first four steps are done. **Map the content** is what lets him sell: without it, he answers fans but offers nothing for sale. The **Set custom pricing** step is optional, and Hugo does not need it.

<Note>
  Fans who write before the first four steps are done are not queued for him. When setup is done, Hugo picks up fans who are still waiting for a reply. He does this only if their last message is no more than 7 days old. Answer older ones yourself in the inbox.

A Telegram creator has two more steps, **Payments connected** and **Media uploaded**, so her meter counts 7. Set them up on her **Payments** and **Media** tabs. See [Telegram creators: how they differ](/telegram/how-telegram-creators-differ).

## Add credits and invite your team

    In OnlyX, click **Billing**. Then click **Add credits**.

    Your workspace starts with $10 of credits, which is less than the $25 warning level. So Billing shows **Running low** at first, and that is expected. See [Add credits so Hugo can sell](/getting-started/add-credits).

    Click **Settings**, then **Members**. Then click **Invite**. See [Invite your team](/getting-started/invite-your-team).

## If something goes wrong

    A step is not done yet. The line under the heading says how many are left, and the steps without a tick say which. If only **Map the content** is left, Hugo already answers fans, but he sells nothing.

    The limits were ticked but never saved. Click **Open Limits**, check the limits, then click **Save**.

    Her account is not connected. On the **Connect the account** step, click the button to sign in to her account again.

  <Accordion title="The content step reads &#x22;Nothing sellable yet&#x22;">
