> You are reading OnlyX Help: the OnlyX Help Center and the OnlyX developer documentation. OnlyX is an AI chatting and CRM platform for OnlyFans agencies. Its AI chatter is called Hugo in the app.

# Move an existing creator or agency to OnlyX

> Connect a creator's existing OnlyFans account, set up your team, persona and content, then turn Hugo on when you are ready.

Moving to OnlyX means connecting each creator's OnlyFans account. OnlyX then reads her fans, conversations, vault and earnings from OnlyFans. You set up the rest in OnlyX, and you turn Hugo on when you are ready.

## Before you start

* You need an owner or admin account in OnlyX. To create one, see [Create your agency account](/getting-started/create-your-account).
* You need a way into her OnlyFans account. She can sign herself in, or you can sign in with her email and password.
* This page is for OnlyFans creators. For a Telegram creator, see [Telegram creators: how they differ](/telegram/how-telegram-creators-differ).
* Move one creator first. When that works, repeat the steps for the next creator.

## What comes from OnlyFans and what you set up

OnlyX has no import from another tool. It has no upload for fans or conversations. You connect her OnlyFans account, and OnlyX reads her data from OnlyFans.

You can upload photos, videos and audio to her vault. See [Upload to the Vault](/onlyfans-tools/upload-to-the-vault).

OnlyX reads her account in the background and spaces out its reads. A large account takes longer. OnlyX cannot say when each part is finished.

## Connect her existing account

Recommended practice: do not ask her to send you her password. Let her sign herself in.

  <Step title="Add her to OnlyX">
    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. Then click **Add creator**. In the **Add creator account** window, enter her **Display name**. Click **Connect**.

    The sign-in window opens. See [Add your first creator](/getting-started/add-your-first-creator).

  <Step title="Choose how she signs in">
    At the top of the window, click **Connect with App**. She signs herself in with the OnlyX Login app, so you do not need her password. She needs an iPhone, a Mac or a Windows computer.

    If you already have her email and password, **Connect here** also works. For the third way, and for the face check, see [Choose how to connect an OnlyFans account](/connecting/ways-to-connect).

  <Step title="Send her the setup link">
    If you chose **Connect with App**, click **Copy setup link**. Send the link to her in any chat. It works for 24 hours and stops working when her account connects. Send it only to her.

    She needs no OnlyX account. See [Send your creator a setup link](/connecting/send-a-setup-link).

  <Step title="Wait for her to sign in">
    Keep the window open until she is signed in. When her session is live, the window closes and her page opens. A message says "The session is live. Importing conversations, vault and earnings in the background."

    If you close the window first, OnlyX still notices her sign-in. Her card on **Creators** then shows **Connected**.

  <Step title="Turn Hugo off">
    On her **Overview**, turn off the switch in the Hugo card. A new creator starts with Hugo on. He answers fans once her account, persona, hard limits and fans are ready, so turn him off first.

    The heading reads "Hugo is off". While he is off, he sends no messages, and her conversations wait for your team in the **Master Inbox**.

## Check what OnlyX read

Check each part. Then check again later, because OnlyX keeps reading in the background.

  <Step title="Check the connection">
    On her **Overview**, find the **Connect the account** step. It reads "Connected" and says when OnlyX last read her account.

  <Step title="Check her fans">
    Find the **Let the fans sync** step. It has no button. It is done when the first fan arrives, and it shows how many fans OnlyX holds.

    To see them all, click **Fans** in her menu, under **OnlyFans**. Fans who never wrote to her are in this list. See [Fans: lists, smart lists and filters](/onlyfans-tools/fans).

  <Step title="Check her conversations">
    In OnlyX, click **Inbox**. Her conversations are in the **Master Inbox**. With Hugo off, he answers none of them.

    Some old messages may be missing. You can check them on OnlyFans. See [Find older messages and understand missing history](/inbox/older-and-missing-messages).

  <Step title="Check the vault">
    In her menu, under **OnlyFans**, click **Vault**. The **Vault** card shows **Fully synced** or **Partial sync**, and how many files OnlyX holds.

    If it says **Partial sync**, click **Sync vault**. The message "Vault sync queued" shows, and the new read takes a minute or two. See [The Vault: sync and browse](/onlyfans-tools/vault).

  <Step title="Check her earnings">
    In her menu, under **OnlyFans**, click **Earnings**. The line under the four tiles says how much history OnlyX has read. It reads "Complete history" or "Partly synced".

    A partly synced total is a floor, not a lifetime figure. Click **Sync now** for a fresh read. See [Earnings: see what a creator earned](/onlyfans-tools/earnings).

  OnlyX does not promise that every old message and every old sale shows at once. Check the history lines again later.

## Set up OnlyX for your team and Hugo

<Steps>
  <Step title="Invite your team">
    In OnlyX, click **Settings**. Then click **Members**. Click **Invite**, and choose the role.

    For a chatter or a content VA, the window shows **Assigned creators**. Pick the creators that this person works on. See [Invite your team](/getting-started/invite-your-team).

  <Step title="Enter her details">
    On her page, click **AI Persona**. Enter her **Age** and **Backstory**, and any other details you know. Do not click **Save** yet.

  <Step title="Check her hard limits">
    In **AI Persona**, click **Limits**. The recommended hard limits are already ticked. Untick any that do not fit, and add her own.

  <Step title="Save the persona">
    Click **Save**. This one **Save** stores her persona and the ticked limits.

    Go back to her **Overview**. The **Write the persona** and **Set the hard limits** steps now show **Done**. Hugo stays off, because the switch is off.

  <Step title="Map her content">
    Click **AI Content**. Build at least one collection. It needs an active paid level with media from her vault.

    This lets Hugo sell. It does not decide whether he replies. See [Build your first collection](/ai-content/build-your-first-collection).

  <Step title="Check AI Rules">
    Click **AI Rules**. Rules keep working when Hugo is off. Every creator starts with **Auto-follow fans back**, which follows a fan back on OnlyFans when he subscribes. It acts only on a subscription that is less than 24 hours old, not on her old fans.

    Keep the rule, change it, or switch it off. See [AI Rules: automate what happens to a fan](/hugo/ai-rules).

## Plan the switch

These are recommendations. OnlyX has no setting for them.

* Pick a time, and tell your team and the creator when Hugo starts.
* Decide who answers until then. While Hugo is off, her conversations wait for your team. Assign a chatter to her, or answer yourself.
* Decide what happens in your old tool. If it still sends messages or replies for her, agree when it stops. OnlyX does not connect to it, so someone must pause it there.
* Finish **AI Content** first if you want Hugo to sell from his first reply.
* Keep a person in the **Inbox** for the first hours after the switch. OnlyX cannot promise that no message is missed or answered twice while two tools work on one account.

## Turn Hugo on

Hugo may start answering when four things are true:

* Her account is connected.
* Her persona has an age and a backstory.
* Her hard limits are saved.
* At least one fan has arrived.

**AI Content** is not one of the four. It only lets him sell.

    On her **Overview**, read the Hugo card. The steps **Connect the account**, **Write the persona**, **Set the hard limits** and **Let the fans sync** show **Done**. **Map the content** shows **Done** when Hugo may sell.

    Then click **Billing**. If it shows "AI paused", Hugo answers no fan. See [Add credits so Hugo can sell](/getting-started/add-credits).

  <Step title="Confirm the plan with your team">
    Tell your team that Hugo is about to start. Check that your old tool no longer answers her fans.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Turn on the switch">
    In the Hugo card, turn on the switch.

    The heading reads "Hugo is answering". If it reads "Hugo is on, and held back", a step is still open. If only **Map the content** is open, Hugo answers but sells nothing.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch the first replies">
    In **Inbox**, open the conversations that show **Hugo**. Read what he sends.

<Warning>
  Hugo sends messages to real fans in her name, including some who are still waiting for a reply. This can include unanswered messages up to 7 days old.
</Warning>

A manual conversation can stay with your team after you turn Hugo on. Check its state in **Inbox** before assuming Hugo took over.

## If something goes wrong

    OnlyX has not read her fans yet. Her account may not be connected, or the first read is still running.

    Check the **Connect the account** step. If it does not read "Connected", click the button on that step and sign in again. See [Reconnect a signed-out creator](/connecting/reconnect-a-creator).

    If it is connected, wait, then reload the page. A large account takes longer.

    OnlyFans may hold older messages that OnlyX has not copied. Scrolling cannot load them. To read the older part now, open the chat on OnlyFans. See [Find older messages and understand missing history](/inbox/older-and-missing-messages).

  <Accordion title="The heading still reads &#x22;Hugo is on, and held back&#x22;">
    A step in the Hugo card is not done. The steps without a tick say which. See [Get a creator ready for Hugo](/hugo/setup-checklist).

    The starting rule **Auto-follow fans back** works whether Hugo is on or off. To stop it, open **AI Rules** on her page and switch the rule off. See [AI Rules: automate what happens to a fan](/hugo/ai-rules).
