> You are reading OnlyX Help: the OnlyX Help Center and the OnlyX developer documentation. OnlyX is an AI chatting and CRM platform for OnlyFans agencies. Its AI chatter is called Hugo in the app.

# Add your first creator

> Add a creator to OnlyX: give her a name, a colour and a platform, then connect her OnlyFans or Telegram account.

When you add a creator, OnlyX puts her on your roster and opens a window where you connect her account.

## Before you start

* You need an owner or admin account. Chatters and content VAs do not see **Add creator**.
* For an OnlyFans creator, you need access to her account. You sign in to it, or she signs in herself with the OnlyX Login app.

## Add an OnlyFans creator

  <Step title="Open the Creators page">
    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. On a phone, **Creators** is under **More**.

    The **Creators** page opens and shows your roster.

  <Step title="Start adding a creator">
    Click **Add creator** at the top of the page. You can also click the **Add creator** tile at the end of your roster.

    The **Add creator account** window opens.

  <Step title="Enter her name">
    In the **Display name** field, enter the name your team knows her by. It can be up to 120 characters.

    This name is your own label for her. Her OnlyFans name does not replace it.

  <Step title="Pick a colour">
    Under **Color tag**, click a colour. The colour marks her conversations in the inbox.

    OnlyX already picked one of the colours you use least. You can keep it.

  <Step title="Check the platform and location">
    Under **Platform**, leave **OnlyFans** picked. Fansly and Fanvue show "Coming soon", and you cannot pick them yet.

    If you see **Preferred location**, pick the country her browser runs from. The United States is first when it is available. To see more countries, click **Other**.

  <Step title="Add her and open the sign-in">
    Click **Connect**.

    OnlyX adds her to your roster. Then a window opens where you sign in to her OnlyFans account. Its title starts with "Sign in as" and her name.

  <Step title="Connect her account">
    In the window, choose **Connect here**, **Connect with App** or **Connect with proxy**, and sign in. See [Choose how to connect an OnlyFans account](/connecting/ways-to-connect).

    When the sign-in works, a message says that she is connected, and OnlyX opens her page.

<Note>
  **Connect** adds the creator at once. If you close the sign-in window, she stays on your roster, not connected yet: her card shows **Signed out** or **Disconnected**. To sign in later, click **Reconnect** or **Sign in** on her card.

## Add a Telegram creator

    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. Then click **Add creator**.

  <Step title="Enter her name and pick a colour">
    In the **Display name** field, enter her name. Under **Color tag**, click a colour.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick Telegram">
    Under **Platform**, click **Telegram**.

    The **Account** field appears.

  <Step title="Choose her Telegram account">
    Click **Use a managed account** to use a Telegram account that OnlyX has ready. Click **Connect my own account** to sign in to her own account with her phone number.

    Click **Connect**.

## After you add her

Her Hugo switch is on from the start. But Hugo does not answer her fans until the first four steps of her setup are done. These are her connection, her persona, her hard limits and her first fans.

Her **Overview** tab reads "Hugo is on, and held back" and lists the steps that are left. To finish them, follow [Quick start: from sign-up to Hugo answering](/getting-started/quick-start).

## If something goes wrong

    The **Display name** field is empty. Enter her name, and **Connect** becomes active.

  <Accordion title="I closed the sign-in window by mistake">
    Nothing is lost. She is on your roster, and her card shows **Signed out** or **Disconnected**. On her card, click **Reconnect** or **Sign in** to open the window again.

  <Accordion title="&#x22;Could not add creator&#x22;">
    The message says why. Maybe a creator with this name already exists. Then give her a different name, for example Mia Rose US.

    For any other reason, try again in a few minutes. If it keeps failing, email [support@onlyx.ai](mailto:support@onlyx.ai) and include the message you see.

  <Accordion title="&#x22;No address was free in&#x22; the country I picked">
    OnlyX added her, but her browser runs from another country for now. OnlyX keeps the country you picked as her location. To learn more, see [Choose a creator's preferred location](/connecting/preferred-location).

  <Accordion title="OnlyFans asks for a face check">
    When OnlyFans may ask for her face, use the most reliable ways to connect. These are the OnlyX Login app on a Mac or Windows computer, or the proxy way. See [OnlyFans face check and Verification required](/connecting/face-check).

  <Accordion title="I do not see Add creator">
    Chatters and content VAs cannot add creators. Ask an owner or admin to add her.
