# Sign in with OnlyX Login on a Mac

> Install the free OnlyX Login app on your Mac, then sign in to OnlyFans yourself from the link your agency sent you.

Your agency sent you a link to connect your OnlyFans account. With it, you sign in to OnlyFans yourself, in the free OnlyX Login app on your Mac.

## Before you start

* The link from your agency. It works for 24 hours, and it stops working once your account is connected.
* A Mac with macOS 13 or later. Intel and Apple silicon Macs both work.
* Your OnlyFans email and password. You type them into the OnlyFans sign-in page inside the app.
* You do not need an OnlyX account.

## Install OnlyX Login

Do this once. If OnlyX Login is already on your Mac, go to [Sign in to OnlyFans](#sign-in-to-onlyfans).

  <Step title="Open your link">
    On your Mac, open the link from your agency in your browser.

    The page **Sign in to OnlyFans** opens. It shows a card called **Continue in the app**.

  <Step title="Download the app">
    Under **First time here?**, click **Download for Mac**. This is version 1.3.1 of the app, and Apple has checked it.

    When the download ends, open the OnlyX Login .dmg file in your Downloads folder. A window opens with the app and an **Applications** folder.

  <Step title="Move it to Applications">
    In that window, drag **OnlyX Login** into the **Applications** folder.

  <Step title="Open the app once">
    Open **OnlyX Login** from your Applications folder. The app says "Waiting for your link". This is correct.

    Opening the app once lets your link start it later. You can close the app now. It only needs to be installed, not open.

  If your Mac says it cannot check OnlyX Login, do not open the app anyway. Do not change your security settings either. Delete that copy, and download the app again from the page.

## Sign in to OnlyFans

  <Step title="Open your sign-in in the app">
    Go back to the page from your link. Under **Already installed?**, click **Open in OnlyX Login**.

    The page also mentions "Paste your link". Only the iPhone app has that button. On a Mac, always use **Open in OnlyX Login**.

  <Step title="Let your browser open the app">
    Your browser asks whether to open OnlyX Login. Choose to open it.

    OnlyX Login opens on the OnlyFans sign-in page. The bar at the top of the window says "Sign in to OnlyFans as" and your OnlyFans name. It also shows how much time you have left.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in to OnlyFans">
    Sign in with your OnlyFans email and password, as you always do.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Do the face check if OnlyFans asks">
    OnlyFans may ask for a selfie or a video check. Allow the camera when your Mac asks. Then follow the instructions from OnlyFans.

  <Step title="Wait for Connected">
    The app shows "Connecting your account…". Keep the window open. This usually takes under a minute.

    When the app shows "Connected", click **Close**. The page in your browser changes to **You're connected** by itself.

## If something goes wrong

If you are stuck inside the app, click **Help**. While you sign in, it is in the bar at the top of the app window. A screen with an error has its own **Help** button. The app calls your agency "your manager".

    The app is not installed yet, or it was never opened. Open **OnlyX Login** from your Applications folder once. Then go back to the page and click **Open in OnlyX Login** again.

    Your browser may be opening an old copy of the app. Open **OnlyX Login** from your Applications folder once. Then go back to the page and click **Open in OnlyX Login** again.

  <Accordion title="Mac cannot verify the app">
    Your copy of the app may be old or incomplete. The current Mac app is checked by Apple, so it should open normally. Do not use "Open Anyway", and do not change your Mac's security settings.

    Delete that copy. Then click **Download for Mac** on the page, and install the app again. If the warning stays, tell your agency.

  <Accordion title="The page says &#x22;This app sign-in link has expired or is unavailable&#x22;">
    Each time the page opens, it makes a new sign-in link for the app. That link works once, and for 15 minutes. Click **Get a new app sign-in link**. Then click **Open in OnlyX Login**.

  <Accordion title="OnlyX Login says &#x22;This link has expired&#x22;">
    The app sign-in link was used already, or its time ran out. Go back to the page, and click **Get a new app sign-in link**. Then click **Open in OnlyX Login** and sign in again.

  <Accordion title="OnlyX Login says &#x22;Your Mac is blocking the camera&#x22;">
    You did not allow the camera the first time, and your Mac asks only once. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Camera. Switch on OnlyX Login. Then go back to the page, click **Get a new app sign-in link**, and click **Open in OnlyX Login**.

  <Accordion title="OnlyX Login says &#x22;Updating OnlyX Login&#x22;">
    A newer version of the app is downloading. Your link works as normal. Click **Open in OnlyX Login** on the page at any time.

  <Accordion title="The page says &#x22;Link no longer works&#x22;">
    The link from your agency has expired or was cancelled. Links work for 24 hours. Ask your agency for a new link.

    If the message says to check your connection, the page did not load. Check your internet connection, and reload the page.
