# Reconnect a signed-out creator

> Sign a creator back in after OnlyFans signed her out, so her inbox syncs and Hugo replies again. Also covers the Creator signed out alert.

OnlyFans signs accounts out from time to time. When that happens, sign the creator back in with **Reconnect**, so her inbox syncs and Hugo replies again.

## Before you start

* You need an owner or admin account in OnlyX.
* You need the creator's OnlyFans email and password, or a way to reach her so she can sign in herself.

## How you know she is signed out

While she is signed out, nothing syncs and Hugo does not reply to her fans. Nobody on your team can send from her conversations either. You see it in these places:

* On the **Creators** page, her card shows the yellow status **Signed out**.
* On the **Dashboard**, she shows as a row in **Waiting on you**, with **Reconnect** and the time of her last sync.
* In the **Inbox**, her conversations show "The OnlyFans account is disconnected".
* After 45 minutes, owners and admins get a **Creator signed out** alert by email and on Telegram.

## Reconnect her

    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. Find the creator whose card shows **Signed out**.

  <Step title="Click Reconnect">
    On her card, click **Reconnect**.

    The sign-in window opens on the **Connect here** tab. **Reconnect** is also at the top of her own page, and in the step **Connect the account** of Hugo's setup.

  <Step title="Sign her in again">
    Use any of the three ways to connect:

    * If you have her email and password, and OnlyFans does not ask for her face, sign in on **Connect here**. See [Sign in yourself with Connect here](/connecting/connect-here).
    * If not, click **Connect with App** or **Connect with proxy**, and send her the link. See [Send your creator a setup link](/connecting/send-a-setup-link).

  <Step title="Wait for the window to close">
    When her session is live, the window closes and her creator page opens. The **Signed out** status is gone from the top of her page.

  <Step title="Check her conversations">
    In OnlyX, click **Inbox**. Look at her conversations from the time she was signed out.

    When her session is live again, Hugo answers fans whose messages are recent, from about the last hour. A fan who wrote earlier while she was down may still be waiting. Answer those fans yourself.

## The Creator signed out alert

OnlyX checks every creator's connection every 5 minutes. If a creator who was **Connected** stays **Signed out** or **Disconnected** for 45 minutes, OnlyX sends one alert. It waits 45 minutes because a short sign-out often fixes itself.

* Who gets it: owners and admins of the workspace. Chatters and content VAs do not.
* How it arrives: by email, and on Telegram if you linked Telegram in your notification settings. Both are on by default.
* How often: once for each drop. The email says "One email per drop — you won't be reminded again until it reconnects."
* What it says: the subject starts with "Action needed". The **Reconnect this creator** button opens her creator page. There, click **Reconnect** at the top of the page, or **Sign in** if her status is **Disconnected**.

You do not get the alert when someone on your team uses **Disconnect** on purpose. You also do not get it for **Verification required**.

To turn the alert off, or to get it only for some creators, open your **Notifications** settings. Under **Creator activity**, find **Creator signed out**. See [Choose your notifications](/account/notifications).

## If something goes wrong

    That is normal. **Signed out** also shows while someone is signing her in. It changes to **Connected** when her session is live.

  <Accordion title="&#x22;Could not open the browser&#x22;">
    OnlyX could not start her browser. The message may say that there is nowhere to run her browser. Then disconnect a creator that you no longer use, and try again.

    For any other message, try again in a few minutes. If it keeps happening, email OnlyX support at [support@onlyx.ai](mailto:support@onlyx.ai) and include the message.

  <Accordion title="OnlyFans asks for her face">
    The browser on **Connect here** cannot pass a face check. Switch to **Connect with App** or **Connect with proxy** in the same window. See [OnlyFans face check and Verification required](/connecting/face-check).

  <Accordion title="I did not get the Creator signed out alert">
    Only owners and admins get it. Check that the alert is on for you in your **Notifications** settings, and that it covers this creator. Telegram alerts need your Telegram linked first.

    OnlyFans ends sessions from time to time, and there is no setting to stop that. Reconnect her each time. Signing in with **Connect with App** is another option.
