# OnlyFans face check and Verification required

OnlyFans sometimes asks the account owner to prove who she is, with a selfie or a face scan. This page shows which ways to connect can pass that check, and how to clear **Verification required**.

## Why OnlyFans asks for her face

OnlyFans can ask for a selfie when someone signs in to a creator's account. Only the creator herself can do it. Nobody at the agency can do it for her.

You meet the face check in one of two places:

* During a sign-in: OnlyFans asks for it while you or she signs in.
* On a creator who is already in OnlyX: her status turns **Verification required**. Nothing syncs for her, and Hugo does not reply to her fans, until the check is done.

## Which ways to connect can pass it

| **Connect with App** | Yes, on a Mac or Windows computer. She does the check in the OnlyX Login app, with that computer's camera. |
| **Connect with proxy** | Yes. She opens the OnlyFans verification link on her phone while Happ is on. |

  The iPhone app is a test version from TestFlight. OnlyFans may ask for her face. For that, the most reliable ways are the OnlyX Login app on a Mac or Windows computer, or the proxy way.

## A face check appears while you sign in

  <Step title="Stop signing in on Connect here">
    If OnlyFans asks for a selfie on the **Connect here** tab, do not continue there. The check cannot pass in that browser.

  <Step title="Switch to another way">
    At the top of the same window, click **Connect with App** or **Connect with proxy**.

    Use **Connect with App** if she has a Mac or a Windows computer. Otherwise use **Connect with proxy**, with her iPhone or Android phone.

  <Step title="Send her the link">
    Copy her link in that tab and send it to her.

    * With **Connect with App**, she signs in again on her Mac or Windows computer and does the check there. See [Send your creator a setup link](/connecting/send-a-setup-link).
    * With **Connect with proxy**, you sign her in again on **Connect here** when her phone is ready. Then you send her the verification link. See [Connect with proxy (Happ)](/connecting/connect-with-proxy).

## Clear Verification required

When OnlyFans wants a check on an account that is already in OnlyX, the creator shows the yellow status **Verification required**. On the **Dashboard**, her row in **Waiting on you** says "OnlyFans requires account verification. Sync and Hugo replies are paused."

    In OnlyX, click **Creators**. Then click the creator.

    Her **Overview** shows a **Verification required** alert, with a **Verify on OnlyFans** button.

  <Step title="Open her browser">
    Click **Verify on OnlyFans**.

    A window titled "Verify" and her name opens on her browser, with OnlyFans in it. This window has no tabs. While it is open, all other work on this account pauses.

  <Step title="Do what OnlyFans shows">
    If OnlyFans shows a step that you can do yourself, do it in this window.

    If OnlyFans wants her face, close the window and go to the next step.

  <Step title="Send her a link">
    In **Creators**, click the three-dot menu on her card. Select **Copy setup link** or **Copy proxy link**, and send the link to her.

    * With the setup link, she signs in again in the OnlyX Login app. On a Mac or Windows computer, she does the check there.
    * With the proxy link, wait until her page is green. Then click **Verify on OnlyFans** again, and send her the verification link that OnlyFans shows.

  <Step title="Wait for the status to change">
    When OnlyFans accepts the check, close the window if it is still open. The status changes to **Connected** by itself within a few minutes. Syncing and Hugo's replies start again.

## Tips to give the creator

* Allow the camera when her phone or computer asks.
* Hold her face up to the camera, and follow the steps that OnlyFans shows.
* It must be her, the owner of the OnlyFans account.
* With the proxy way, keep Happ on until the check is done.
* OnlyX does not record the check.

## If something goes wrong

    Chatters and content VAs can see the alert, but they cannot open the creator's browser. Ask an owner or admin to clear the check.

    She refused the camera for OnlyX Login earlier. On her iPhone, she goes to Settings, then OnlyX Login, then Camera, and switches the camera on. Then she opens her link again.

    Ask her to allow the camera and follow the steps that OnlyFans shows, exactly. The most reliable ways are the OnlyX Login app on a Mac or Windows computer, or the proxy way. If it keeps failing, email OnlyX support at [support@onlyx.ai](mailto:support@onlyx.ai).

    OnlyX checks each creator's connection every few minutes. Wait 5 minutes. If the status does not change, click **Verify on OnlyFans** and look at what OnlyFans shows.
