# Your balance: Credits, Pending usage and Net balance

> Read the three numbers on the Balance card, see which one to watch, and see what Hugo costs for each creator.

The **Balance** card shows what you paid in, what Hugo's latest sales cost you, and what is left to spend.

## The three numbers

In OnlyX, click **Billing**. The **Balance** card is on the **Overview** tab, under the status card. Its three numbers form a sum: **Credits** minus **Pending usage** equals **Net balance**. On a phone, the three numbers stack without the signs.

| Number | What the card says | What it means |
| - | - | - |
| **Credits** | "Paid in and not yet spent" | The money in your balance. It changes only when money moves: a deposit, the daily charge, a returned fee or an adjustment. |
| **Pending usage** | "Today's sales, charged at midnight" | Hugo's fees that are not charged yet. They come off your **Credits** a few minutes after midnight UTC. |
| **Net balance** | "What you have left to spend" | **Credits** minus **Pending usage**. This is the number to watch. |

## An example day

You start the day with $40 in **Credits**. During the day, Hugo's sales add $18 of fees:

During the day, the status card says **Running low**, because the **Net balance** is under $25. After midnight UTC, one **AI usage** entry of −$18 appears on the **Transactions** tab.

## Which number to watch

Watch the **Net balance**. It is the largest number on the card, and it turns red when it goes below zero. It also decides these:

* The status card shows **Running low** when the **Net balance** is under \$25.
* When your balance is healthy, the status card says how many days of credit you have left, for example "Hugo is selling — about 12 days of credit left". This is your **Net balance** divided by the sum of every creator's **Daily est.**, rounded down.
* If no creator had a fee in the last 7 days, the card says "Hugo is selling and your balance is healthy" instead.

The grace period works from your **Credits**, not your **Net balance**. It starts only when the daily charge takes your **Credits** below zero. When you owe money, **Credits** shows the debt as a negative amount. See [Low balance, grace period and "Hugo is paused"](/billing/low-balance-and-pause).

  The **Balance** column on the **Transactions** tab shows your **Credits** after each entry. It never includes **Pending usage**.

## What each creator costs

The **Estimated cost per creator** card sits under **How billing works** on the **Overview** tab. Its line reads "From the last 30 days of Hugo's sales." Every creator in your workspace is listed, with the highest **Monthly est.** first. A creator with no fees yet shows \$0.

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Creator** | The creator's name. |
| **Daily est.** | The creator's fees in the last 7 days, divided by 7 and rounded down to the cent. |
| **Monthly est.** | The creator's real fees in the last 30 days. It is a total, not a forecast. |
| **Last fee** | The newest fee and how long ago it was, for example "\$2 · 3h ago". A dash (—) means no fee yet. |

Returned fees are left out of both estimates.

## When the numbers change

The card shows the numbers from when you opened the page. After a deposit lands while the **Deposit balance** window is open, the card updates by itself. Otherwise, reload the page to see the latest numbers.
