# How billing works

> What OnlyX charges for and when: 10% of the net on each PPV that Hugo sells, taken from your prepaid credits once a day.

OnlyX charges you only for Hugo's sales: 10% of the net on each <Tooltip tip="A pay-per-view message: the fan pays to unlock it.">PPV</Tooltip> he sent that a fan unlocked.

## Where to find billing

In OnlyX, click **Billing** in the sidebar. On a phone, tap **More**, then **Billing**. The page opens on the **Overview** tab.

The top of the page shows your workspace's rate, for example **AI Revenue Share: 10%**. Only owners and admins can open **Billing**. Chatters and content VAs do not see it.

## What you pay for

You pay for one thing only: a PPV that Hugo sent, when a fan unlocks it.

* The fee is 10% of the net.
* The net is the price the fan paid, minus OnlyFans' 20% cut.
* So the fee is about 8% of the price the fan paid. Each amount is rounded to the nearest cent.

Here is one sale, worked out:

Each sale is charged once. A fee keeps the rate that applied when the fan unlocked the PPV, even if your rate changes later.

For a Telegram creator, OnlyX takes off the payment processor's real fee on that sale instead of 20%. The rest works the same way.

## What is free

The **How billing works** card on the **Overview** tab shows Hugo's work in four steps. Only the fourth step costs money. It is marked **The only step you pay for**.

Everything else is free:

* every message Hugo sends that does not sell;
* PPVs that nobody opens;
* PPVs that your team sends by hand;
* tips and subscriptions.

If a fan charges back a sale that Hugo made, OnlyX returns the fee. This happens once the chargeback is recorded on that sale. To report a chargeback, email [support@onlyx.ai](mailto:support@onlyx.ai).

The fee comes back as a **Sale refunded** entry. If the day's charge has not run yet, the fee is never taken.

## When you are charged

A fee does not leave your balance at the moment of the sale:

1. When a fan unlocks a PPV that Hugo sent, the fee is added to **Pending usage** on the **Balance** card.
2. Once a day, a few minutes after midnight UTC, OnlyX adds up the day's fees. It takes the total from your **Credits** as one **AI usage** entry on the **Transactions** tab.
3. In the **Usage report**, those sales change from **Pending** to **Charged**.

Midnight UTC is 8 PM in New York in summer, and 7 PM in winter. Billing days are UTC days too. So a sale at 9 PM in New York in summer is filed under the next day.

## Credits are prepaid

You pay from prepaid credits. Every new workspace starts with \$10 of **Welcome credits**. After that, you add credits with a crypto deposit in USDT or USDC.

## If your balance runs out

When the daily charge takes your credits below zero, a grace period starts, and Hugo keeps working. Hugo pauses when the debt is more than 7 days old, or as soon as it reaches \$500.

  A pause stops all of Hugo's replies, not only his sales, for every creator in the workspace. Your team, the inbox and your fans' data keep working.
